General information

The wedding celebrations will take place over three days. It will start Friday, 29th of August, with a welcome party, followed by the ceremony and reception on Saturday, 30th of August, and finishing with a brunch on Sunday, 31st of August.

Unfortunately, as much as we’d love to invite all of our friends’ children, we can only accommodate a few close family children. We hope that you will understand this decision and that you will still be able to join us on our special day.

Dress code

Welcome party: Casual chic attire. Think polished yet relaxed! For ladies, flowy dresses, stylish jumpsuits, or elegant separates work perfectly. For gentlemen, dress pants or chinos paired with a button-down or a nice polo are great choices—no need for a tie, but feel free to dress it up if you’d like. Comfortable yet classy is the vibe!

Ceremony & reception: Formal attire. Our ceremony will take place in a church, so we kindly ask guests to dress respectfully. Ladies, elegant dresses or gowns are perfect, and a shawl or cover-up is recommended for the ceremony. Gentlemen, suits or tuxedos are ideal. After the ceremony, get ready to dance the night away—so stylish yet comfortable shoes are a great idea!

Brunch: Garden party attire. For our Sunday brunch, we’re embracing a light and breezy garden party vibe! Think floral dresses, sundresses, or chic separates for the ladies, and linen pants, chinos, or dress shorts with a button-down or polo for the gentlemen. Light fabrics, pastel or bright colors, and comfortable shoes for mingling on the grass are perfect. Hats and sunglasses are welcome!

Most of our wedding weekend events will take place outdoors, with grass and gravel paths. Please keep this in mind when choosing your shoes. We want you to enjoy every moment without worrying about your footing!

When should I RSVP?

Our RSVP window will open at the end of March and close on July 1st. Kindly respond by then to help us finalize details with our vendors and ensure a smooth celebration. We truly appreciate your timely response.

First time at a Church Wedding?

We’re so excited to celebrate our special day with you! If you’ve never been to a church wedding before, here are a few things to keep in mind so you feel comfortable and prepared:

  • A Small Donation: It’s customary to give a small donation for the church (a few euros) during the offertory. There will be a collection basket passed around, but there’s no obligation to give.

  • The Eucharist: During the ceremony, there will be a part called the Eucharist (Holy Communion). If you’re baptized in the Catholic faith, you’re welcome to participate. If not, please remain seated.

  • Standing & Kneeling: At different moments in the service, people will stand, sit, or kneel. Feel free to follow along or simply stay seated if you’re unsure.

Most importantly, we just want you to enjoy the day with us. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask—we’re happy to help!
